The Law Office of Craig R. Bordelon, II was formed in 2016 with the goal of bringing high quality legal services to the Acadiana community. The limited size of the firm allows for a customized and unique approach to each case, truly offering a focused strategy toward the success each client expects and deserves.
Craig has a direct and simple philosophy in representing clients. Achieve the highest level of satisfaction for each client in each case. There is no substitute for diligent preparation, hard work, and commitment to the desired result. Those principles serve as the guide for resolving every case in a strategic, ethical, and cost-effective manner. While Craig strives for the resolution of matters in a civil and agreeable manner, he also recognizes that when appropriate, reliance on thoughtful aggression is the most advantageous approach for the success of his clients.
Craig is a native of the New Orleans area and attended LSU where he graduated in 2009 with a B.A. in Mass Communication with a concentration in Political Communication. Following his undergraduate studies, he attended Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. Craig graduated cum laude and was given the distinction of William S. Crowe Scholar. In his time in New Orleans, Craig worked in the District Attorney's Office in Jefferson Parish, where he cultivated his legal analysis and writing skills as a researcher and brief writer in the Appellate Division.
Craig spent the formative years of his legal career in the civil defense field, where he represented local and national businesses and insurance companies in serious maritime personal injury and property loss cases. He has also counseled his clients successfully in cases ranging from complex oil and gas contamination to maritime personal injury. Craig has focused on defending general casualty, premises liability, products liability, workers’ compensation, general maritime, and Jones Act causes of action. Craig has successfully represented clients ranging from national insurance providers to local businesses and municipalities in Louisiana state and federal jurisdictions.
In his defense of those businesses and insurance companies, Craig has cultivated an understanding of the approach, tactics, and goals of insurers...
With the support of his family and close friends, Craig formed his Firm and focused his practice on representing hard-working individuals rather than large corporate entities and insurance companies. In his time litigating serious personal injury matters, Craig has developed a valuable understanding of why insurance companies deny claims, how they assign a value to your loss, and their strategies for minimizing the compensation you deserve. Craig puts this knowledge to work for you, with the goal of ensuring that you can resolve a difficult situation with the confidence that you have been compensated fairly.
Craig is a member of the Louisiana Bar Association as well as the American Inns of Court of Acadiana. Craig is also a Court Appointed Special Advocate and represents the interests of foster children in the Acadiana area.
